Rebecca Oertli, Juilliard graduate, has performed as a soloist and chamber musician throughout the USA, Canada and Eastern Europe. She recently appeared as a soloist with the Kiev Symphony, the Texas Festival Orchestra and the Cluj Romania Orchestra among others. Rebecca has toured and performed with Josh Groban, the multi-platinum Trans-Siberian Orchestra, the Irish Tenors and Danny Oertli .

This summer will mark the inaugural year for “Rebecca Oertli Fiddle Camp” specializing in Texas Style, Irish and Jazz. An avid teacher as well as performer, Rebecca is a conductor for the Youth Orchestras of San Antonio and enjoys guest lecturing and performing at various music camps and universities. She founded an ongoing violin program for orphaned and impoverished children in Eastern Europe. Rebecca was also awarded a Juilliard String Teaching Fellowship to teach minority children in NYC. While obtaining degrees in violin performance, she assistant taught for Juilliard professor, Stephen Clapp and UT professor, Brian Lewis.

Rebecca is the assistant concertmaster of the Symphony of the Hills. She has performed with the San Antonio and Austin Symphonies and as concertmaster of the Texas Festival Orchestra, the Mid-Texas Symphony and Kingsville Symphony among others. Rebecca is a founding member of Austin’s Angels string trio who were lauded by the Houston Chronicle as “the string players answer to the Eroica Trio” as they dazzled Texas audiences and performed live on NPR.
